Gettysburg Ghosts Paranormal Investigations was founded in 1998. Dedicated to investigating the paranormal, we have logged hundreds of hours on the Gettysburg Battlefield and many other areas on the East Coast. Our main area of concentration is Maryland, Pennsylvania, West Virginia and Virginia. In addition to ghosts and haunts, we have also traveled in search of cryptids such as Mothman in Point Pleasant, WV. Our goal is to document hauntings using a wide range of scientific data in order to add validity to the study of the paranormal. Many of our members have been investigating since 1991 and many of our techniques and theories have changed with time. This is a field of ever changing views, and we try to keep up with the times.

Our group concentrates primarily on hauntings in and around the Gettysburg Battlefield. We also travel to areas in MD, PA, WV, and VA to check out reported hauntings. We have also traveled to the Mothman Festival in Point Pleasant in search of Mothman himself.
