I'll be frank...I'd like to meet people who'd want to attend my Historic Ghost Tours of Naperville! :-) But, economic needs notwithstanding, I'd like to meet people whose minds are open about the supernatural ... but not so open that their brains fall out.

I'm a National Public Radio junkie, but when I do listen to music my tastes run all over the place -- classic rock, blues, opera, folk, some country, some rap/hip-hop, jazz...I'd listen to Bruce Springsteen or Don McLean sing the phone book.

Latest faves include "Supernatural" (love the way they combine various classic folktales and mythology into fresh, bloodcurdling variations ... the best being the first ep ever, combining La Llorona and The Vanishing Hitchhiker legends. And yes, those boys are soooo good to look at too! :-)

Also enjoy Ghost Hunters, Battlestar Galactica, Dexter. Am longing to see Haunted History, but don't get the Bio Channel (arrgh!). Scariest Places on Earth can be OK sometimes, but only when they're NOT sending people into haunted places for the express purpose of scaring them. Screaming and sobbing isn't good TV, in my opinion.

I like serious skeptics who realize that not all phenomena can be explained away ... and believers who don't leap to conclusions of ghosts or demon possession on thin-to-none evidence.

The scariest movie I ever saw was...

The Ghost and Mr. Chicken" with Don Knotts! No, really! When he's up in the tower at midnight and the bloodstained organ starts to play by itself...brrrr! :-)

Also The Lady in White, Sixth Sense.

My own, of course, Haunted Hometowns: Naperville, Illinois! ;-) I'll let you all know when it comes out. It's with the publisher as we speak.
