Div. mother with 3 teens who keep me on my toes. My oldest has Downs Syndrome and is a true inspiration to me.
Since a very young age, I could sense things around me, especially if I went into older homes and antique stores. Unfortunately I had to keep it to myself because my parents were very strict Catholics and told me that I was "foolish to believe in those things". But I knew deep down otherwise.
My first full experience was when I was 6 and I had a full dream about a funeral mass, and all the details except who it belonged to. In the dream I also saw my dad sitting on the corner of our couch and crying. Two days after the dream, my 2 year old little sister died suddenly of Reye Syndrome. Everything that I had dreamt came to be and played before me like instant replay. It was very scary as I saw things happen. When I told my aunt, she told me not to tell anyone else and that I had a "special gift" Well, I did tell my parents and that's when they told me I was wrong and things.
So, after that, it was all kept quiet. Every once in awhile there was an old nun that I found I could talk to these things about. She would tell me that when I got older that it would be safer to open up. So, now I'm older and I want to know much more and experience much more.
