My name is Holly, and I founded the Southern Ghost Hunters of Southwest Georgia.
I've had several experiences with the paranormal since early childhood and this is what led me to my fascination, and trying to find the answers to my own questions.
All through my childhood into young adulthood, I saw and heard ghost. It was a scary thing at such a young age and eventually I blocked it. I've lived in 3 different haunted homes throughout my life so I've experienced quite a lot. All of this left me with many questions and started me on my journey to educate myself, and then to help educate others with what I've been able to learn. Since I started actively investigating, the ability I had as a young adult began to reappear. It's nowhere as strong as it used to be, but it's still there and I've been able to witness some things during investigations that I thought was long gone from my sight and hearing range.
I've been able to combine all the things I love doing. I've written and published many short stories, and several novels. I'm also a website designer, video editor, and paranormal investigator. I'm just an all around creative-type person. And I'm from south Ga., Y'all.
I'D LIKE TO MEET
All those interested in the paranormal.
TURN ON'S
“Coming together is a beginning. Keeping together is progress. Working together is success.”
Fun people, good conversations, kind hearts, spending all night with good friends hunting for that elusive full-bodied apparition.
Established in 2003, the Southern Ghost Hunters of South Georgia is a not-for-profit, paranormal investigation and research organization committed to the discovery and study of paranormal phenomena through the use of scientific, psychological, and psychic resources. We do so with integrity, honesty, and discretion.
Helping people with unanswered questions, strange occurrences, and unexplained events in their life is one of the main reasons SGH was founded. We understand that calling a team to investigate your home or property is not an easy decision. We truly understand the fear and seriousness of each situation. We respect you, your property, and your privacy.
The SGH team are all normal people, with regular lives. Most of us have had our own experiences that have drawn us into this field. We are a diverse group of individuals who all have one thing in common; we all have different skills, and we want to give those who are experiencing phenomena our help in determining what may be occurring. Our members have a wide variety of backgrounds including; novelist, law enforcement officers, biologist, former military, professor, and business owners. We take the paranormal seriously and are not a group of thrill seekers.
We offer free, discreet, investigations to those needing our help with these matters. We are based in the city of Tifton, South Georgia, and will travel to surrounding areas.
We conduct serious study and research into all our investigations, and believe that belief along with skepticism is a healthy practice.
The Southern Ghost Hunters has investigated many allegedly haunted locations in and around the Georgia area including private homes, cemeteries, state properties, and businesses.

TURN OFF'S
Scammers, Fake people, cruel posters, fatal arguments. People who can't look at all sides of a situation.
Just stopping by to play catch up. Things have been really crazy around here. My mom is still in the hospital since surgery on Oct. 23. What could go wrong, went wrong. She is finely starting to recover. She's still got along road ahead of her, but it's coming. That has kept us really busy, besides working at the shop and the ghost hunts that I had lined up. My new book is selling great and that has really kept me busy also. I haven't had time to sit back and enjoy to much of it yet. I came down with a rotten cold. Just what I needed right now. Hey, this too will get better.
Hope all is well with you. I hope you had a great weekend and a wonderful week ahead of you. Hugs, Vicky
Just stopping by to say hi. We had a great weekend. I'm sad it's over with so fast. Saturday after work we went to my brothers for a fish fry. He went to Canada over Labor Day weekend and caught all kind of northern for it, and he also had fresh shrimp shipped in from the golf. Oh that shrimp and fish were so good. Nothing like fresh sea food. Over 60 people showed up to eat.
Then on the way home that night Phil and I stopped at the haunted barn to go though that. It was a lot of fun. These people really put a lot into it.
On Sunday we had to head up to Sauk City for Phil's family reunion. We also had a blast seeing people we haven't seen in years, and the food was great there also. Not as good as the fresh fish and shrimp though.
Now it's back to work for us tomorrow. Hope you have a wonderful week. Hugs, Vicky
