I'm never really sure what to put here so lets start with the basics...my name is J, well, no it's not my REAL name, but that's what you can call me. I'm 24 and I currently live on my own in Central Florida. If all goes well (and it better since I've already informed my work that I'll be leaving) I should be moving back to Virginia the last week of December. I've checked spiritual in the religions category because I'm not really sure how to classify myself. In the past I've called myself Wiccan, but I'm not, and I don't really tell people I'm a Witch, because of the type of reaction I usually get. I've been told just to call myself pagan, because I’m not Christian, but I'm not sure what to do, oh well. I'm bisexual. I know it was rather blunt but I thought it was the best way to get it out in the open. I've been thus since I was 15 and I really don't see that ever changing, not that anyone but my family really cares. The way I see it, I've got more to choose from.I have eight piercings in my left ear and one in my right. I also have a tattoo on my left shoulder and in the middle of my back and to top it all off, my tongue is pierced.
If there's anything else you want to know that wasn't covered in that very brief look into my life, mail me, and if I think the question is intelligent I'll send you an answer back.

I'm pretty eclectic in my musical tastes, I love Opera, Folk Music, New Age, Rock, J-Rock and Pop, Metal, about that only thing I don't like is Rap.

I actually don't watch a lot of TV, but I do enjoy Ghost Hunters, Paranormal State, Most Haunted, Scariest Places on Earth, Bones, CSI, and most other things of that nature.

I love to read and am currently sorta working on a couple of novels, but they aren't coming along to well. I also enjoy swimming and horse back riding, as well as just sitting out under a tree on a nice day and doing absolutely nothing. Movies are great; hanging out with my friends is a favorite past time, or just cruises down the sidewalks in a historical district. I also have a secret love of antique shopping, I don't know a THING about them, but I love going into the shops. I just love the smell and the feeling of being around some really old pieces.

I've always been interested in the paranormal, but as a kid you really don't think of it as that. It's just things you thought you saw, or heard, but as you get older and you read books and watch TV you start to realize that the things you've seen, hear or felt, aren't just a figment of your imagination. Now I'm not claiming to be psychic or any kind, just been luck every once in a while. My interest in the paranormal really took off around the time I was 13 and I've always wanted to be part of an investigative group. One of the first books I ever read I won at school for a reading contest and it was a non-fiction book that had all types of real haunting in it, a couple they've made movies about and one was the Winchester House. I've been in a few haunted houses, the Winchester House, in San Jose CA, Gettysburg and a couple other places in Virginia. I've had a couple experiences, but I'll post about them later.

It's pretty much the same with movies, though I do like going to Blockbuster and renting movies I've never heard of, sometimes I'm pleasantly surprised in what I find. I most recently rented The Orphanage, and it was really good. The twist at the end was surprising, but then when it kinda went through things and showed you how it all happened you kinda hit your forehead and laughed at how stupid you feel for not having figured it out.

I'm currently rereading the Anita Blake books by Laurell K Hamilton, and remembering why I hate Richard so much, but I read everything from historical and natural non-fiction books, to romance, Sci-Fi, Fantasy and graphic novels.

I hate liars. It's the one thing in this world that I can neither stand nor understand. I just don't see the point in it. I can't stand closed minded people who won't even TRY to understand where you're coming from or even entertain the idea that what they believe might not necessarily be untrue, but might have a bit more to it then they want to admit.
