Blog Entry: just read my freind solitudes bit on his trusting instincts. well here we go, 20 or so years ago id moved into my flat with my now wife, which was a long way away from my parents home, and this certain week id chated with my brother and arranged to go to the local pub near my parents home to catch up on some time with my brother and drink my favourate beer wards bitter! lovely drink, any how my cars exhaust was blowing and needed repairing so ithought well ill drive it to my parents home and drop it off the next day at the garage few miles away, so that was my plan! a night in my old pub with bro and wards beer brill, id found out the times of the late buses home so i wasnt worried,so of we went , storys been told ,gossip catched up on and the beer flowing and tasting great! the time was flying as it so often does when your enjoying your self my brother said ill just pop to the gents so of he went,but came back with a nother pint ,well the wise thing would have been dont drink it!as id missed one bus,and id only got one left to catch and if i missed it then?well i could crash at parents im sure! id rang my wife and told her earlyer i would be home on at least one of those late night busesso shed not be worried, well ill have to ring her again if i miss this bus! well i dont remember if i was thinking of how i was going to get home as the last buss never came and thought well i could risk talking the car home,or daydreaming?its a long time ago,but ido remember one important detail ,and that was i sort of saw myself taking the car and driving down the sliproad of the dual caridge way at the back of my parents home and just as it meets the carridge way seeing my exhaust drop off! at this i told my brother of what i was thinking and what id seen, and he said well stay the night at dads yer i will! and off to dads we walked, as i got to dads i thought oh to heck with it it wont take long to get home i felt ok, so after debating with bro i selfishly took the car,.....yes im going down the slip road and just when it meets the main carridge way bang,clatter,clatter, my exhuast back end drops off! i remember saying id never doubt what id seen again i put the car on a grass verge safe,ran to my parents in shock and told my mother,who thought i looked like a ghost or had seen one! now every one has skellitons in there cuboards or has done somthink foolish im sure ,and may not want to share it,i have it was foolish at the time,dangerouse, and now my wife drives as she dosnt drink, and as for the daydream?well it was spot on,but at the time i just didnt no it was,this is one expereince im not proud off thanks for reading
