ello! just got back from an investigation at ordsall hall in salford.
was actualy an active night,
5:30pm saturday started off with alot of bangs and bumps at the begining while i was setting up the cameras. it was only myself and the security guard there and we were both in the same room! we ran to investigate, but found no explanation.
after everyone arrived, whe split into the groups to start visuals in each room in turn. the first room (solar room) was abit quiet. a few things like a strange light lighting up the hallway, but i think it could be put down to car headlights through the window.
the exibition room (our second location) affected one lady in particular. she started crying but didnt know why. she seemed to be a very strong willed lady too ,by what i could tell of her throughout the night.
we then held a massive seance in the main great hall led by myself and one of our mediums. nothing happened at first, however we then decided to do a glass divination experiment in the middle of the circle.
this proved sucsessfull and ended up comunicating with a spirit of a young boy of 15 called william that was abused buy a member of staff in the 1400s. after a long time of trying to figure out what he was trying to say, it turned out that he murdered his abuser and buried him in the grounds. the boy was worried that the soon starting renovations of this tudor building would disturb this spirit.
now i am always sceptical of glass divination as there is always the suspision of someone pushing it, volentry or not. so i thought i would try a few experiments.
i first asked all participents of the glass experiment to turn there fingers upside down so there nail is on the glass.
its alot harder or even impossible on a rough wood table (as was this) to push and normaly 'meraculasly' the glass stops moving. in this case the glass still moved as fast and vilontly as before.
this was quiet impressive i though considering the rough texture of the table being used.
shortley after, the table colapsed with a BANG! paranormal or not, we all nearly poo-ed ourselfs! hehe
my second experiment was that i went into a corner, faced the wall so knowone could see me and make a shape with my fingers. we asked if he could replicate the shape i was making (triangle) and he did almost instantly.
our medium picked his name up and the glass moved to his yes positon that he gave us, and we did also work out his second name, that i cant for the live of me remember (i havent slept yet lol but its writen down somewhere) something french i seem to remember. and the infomation both our medium and the glass divination came out with between them both tied up spot on according to the buildings history.
the final rooms (star chambre and kitchen were quiet and we finished at about 4:30am sunday.
the glass divination was proberbly the best i have seen to date, due to the experiments and i find myself walking away abit more open minded about glass divination altho i will still always think someone is pushing unless proven otherwise as i was last night.
next weekend im being thrown in an underground RAF bunker (RAF Holmpton) in hull. looking forward to this one :)
