oh ya and I agree about the energies as we have had experiences with the batteries being drained and cameras acting up on investigations.  We have also had people get their energy drained in a particular area at a haunted location. So yes energy is a very important point to remember.  Thank you.

Thank you Regan,  that is correct, I bought it from a fellow on Ebay and it is a modified Frank's Box as he put it,  a small radio type.  I will continue with it, I don't get discouraged easy so as I know it has potential I will keep trying and listening and it does not have a recorder with it, so I will use a separate one to record what I might not hear at the time.  I appreciate your comments.  I have picked up EVP's with other devices and had some great luck, very interesting!!!!  I will also try it at a haunted location in a couple of weeks to see if I can pick up anything that might be around the area I am investigating.  I will keep trying at home too just to get used to the device and the sounds eminating from it.
