Is it me or is the division between Ghost hunting, and Paranormal investigations becoming the new Hatfield's and the McCoy (a big feud, for those who are too young to remember that one)? There must be, a faction of new people who are interested in, or simply just watching the growing groups out there. Can you imagine what is going on in their minds, oh yes add the TV shows to that soup as well. I have a few years in this thing and sometimes I get confused! To the Americans will one side become the democratic, party and one the Republicans? To the Britt's, one the labor (labour) party, or the Conservative Party? The Australian's the Australian Labor Party, or the National party, I hope you get the point (this is not a Poly Sci. lesson). What I hope to show is the world wide diversity that makes up the paranormal community. We have just about every spiritual belief and religion, including the total lack of each, we have scientist, psychics, mediums, healers, observers, the list goes on and on! Now here is the question! Are some of us not doing anything to further research and understanding? We are folks! Even the make believe, out for money and fame, jerks are serving a purpose! What is it? They should give us 2 things, one is a knowledge of how "not to" do something! Two is a point of reference showing the truly gifted people out there, (verses the "look at me" type). TV shows no matter how hokey, have brought many people into our community even if it is just an interest. That is how or why inventor's invent! There is a market out there. Some one asked about the Ovilus, do most of you have a clue what this is? To me it is a toy for the (got to have everything hunter). What will come from this is unknown, is it the forerunner for some new really usable, and respected device? My point is that, yes even you couch potatoes have a place. We need Ghost hunters, and Paranormal Investigators who, do it different ways. Some with all the electronic equipment they can find, and some with a camera and the seat of their pants! Sure some of the experiences, and data collected won't go anywhere! Where in any, other field does everything get used? I've said this before, take 6 psychics into an area/ house/ building, where we are sure paranormal activity is rampant! Start a fresh set of videos, recordings, and photos each time. My bet is you will get 6 different renditions of what is in there! Do it scientifically, don't tell anyone anything (no front loading). Interview each separate from the other, use a base set of questions to collect your answers, and of course get gut reaction in each ones own words. Six psychics, six stories! Who is wrong? Why do any of them have to be wrong? What if each one saw a different layer, of energies? Can any of you prove that isn't the case? Couch potatoes, give them the data collected and let them watch, my guess is they have a finely tuned eye for catching things on TV? The point is lets use who we have to do the best we can! Develop the theories that say even orbs that appear to be dust could be, novice, or newby spirit energies, who are told to go out there and act like the dust till you get the hang of it? I'm not making fun folks who can prove that isn't the situation? I'm glad we all don't think alike this would be a boring place if it were that way! Some of us could stop copy and pasting our blogs at least at the level you need a PhD to understand. If you are going to plagiarize find an easy read for all of us, will you. Even those folks can set up a sub group for people who want to read someone else's thoughts all the time, and can understand it! I like to try to write where, I make you think, and anyone can understand, and even then I put my foot in my mouth! My point is we have a world wide group, let's try to understand where each one of us is coming from. If you need to fight I will set up a group for strictly arguments! We have a growing community, great blogs, and blog space wasted on personal stuff, like who is talking down to who? I'm not looking for political correctness, just lets try to stay on task with why we are here! Most undesirable will, if we leave their writing alone and don't comment they get the point and leave, or change their attitude! This has happened many times, already! They must have an audience, or it is like that thing where the tree fall in the woods! Talk to me please tell me what you think! Just remember! I love sarcasm, so as I like to say "DON'T START NUTTIN, WON'T BE NUTTIN"! That folks, is not intended for those of us who are confused, it is asking for some to not challenge my intelligence! I really want to hear what you got to say, and humor is not only accepted it is graded! So now Beat me! P. S. If no one responds I might just think you want me to leave! I did say that didn't I! LOL! (nervously) Look for this in the forum as well in case I get caught in the middle of someone's slapping contest! Steve

Steve, This is why I always enjoy reading your stuff. It's always easy to understand what you are saying. When I get to a blog or forum that I don't understand I just bypass it. If I ever have any questions, your always there to help me understand.
I agree, there should never be fights in this field. No one really knows the real answers. All we can do is try to help each other. Helping me, you have sure done many times over, on this site and other sites.
One of the reason's I have let so many different groups into my place to investigate is because I like to see how different the teams do things. My teams have also learned to work together, which makes it so nice. I think a team or a person that can learn to work together will go much farther then anyone else.
Don't ever leave. I would be lost without you. I'm so glad that we have been able to get to know each other and that you are always there when I have problems understanding things. You my friend, are one great friend. Hugs, Vicky
