i was wondering if any of you made some tools from scratch? if so what and how?

I see you got a lot of views but no answers. Could you explain what type equipment or TOOLS you are curious about?
Do you mean camera equipment, or recording equipment, etc? I think that there are very few people out there with the expertise to build these type devices.
Do you mean maybe, has anyone modified these type things for different purposes?
Just trying to get it straigh in my mind what you mean by TOOLS.

i mean like ion emiters* . sorry for the spelling . not much of a speller well like that and maybe something to do with emf detector or home made sensors such as ultrasonic, infrasonic, audio amplifiers, optolisteners, uv radiometer, turbidity, ir motion detector, freezing temp alarm
