Need an opinion please!

Has anyone ever heard of two people, in this case, it is my sister and me, who have had dreams about the same person for a long period of time or at all for that matter?

Even though it has been a while since we had these dreams, they are still a bit disturbing.

What do you think?

Being that you and your sister grew up in the same environment, it would not be uncommon to dream about the same people you know. However, the actual meaning of a dream for you may be completely different from hers.

for instance;

My brothers and I would often dream about our step-father. Their relationship with our step-father was different than mine and each of us had to resolve within ourselves the damage that was done at the hands of an abusive step-father. My younger brother experienced a lot of neglect but was not physically abused like my older brother or sexually abused like I was.

So to answer your question...it's very common to have similar dreams about the same people. There are complete strangers who dream about the same people, (movie stars, etc)  but the interpretation will be unique for each dreamer.

Hope this helped!

Kathy

Thank you for your input!  My sister and I did not grow up together (we have different mothers), but we still have a really great bond, despite our 11 year age difference.

You have given me some things to think about.  The person that she and I dreamed about was very specific and had characteristics that made him truly unique.  I don't know why, but I honestly think he is a real person, but do not know that I would want to meet him.

The last time we dreamed about him was several years ago and it was the night that she moved in with me.  He stood in the doorway of my room and looked at me and then looked back at her (she fell asleep on the couch in the next room) and then he was gone.

Despite the years that have passed, the dreams and the man still disturb me at times.

Thank you again for your input!

My question would be, why do you feel apprehension? The next is does your sister feel the same way? We all dream of people we've never seen but I have no idea why. I've been told that if you die in your dream, that you actually die. I've died four different deaths in my dreams. I often wonder if it's not past lives as they are all different eras. In your case, could it possibly be a precognition on yours and your sisters behalf? Just a thought as I'm just an investigator not a dream analyst. I do wish you both peace, love and light.

The apprehension is felt by both my sister and me.  More so her than me I think.  This man is not a pleasant person, to put it nicely, lol.  But he is not someone whose appearance and/or existence is out of the realm of possiblity (monster, vampire, etc).

I guess it threw me because we both dreamed about this for over 2 years off and on and I have not actively looked for him, but I find myself keeping an eye out for him every so often.

Thank you for your input Wayne!  Have a great weekend!
