I'm always curious to learn, knowledge is power. I've always been curious about the Supernatural, always believed it has exsisted. I can't say that I formally have anything to offer to this group, but I'd love to make new friends, ask questions, and continue learning!!

From the time I was little, I heard things, saw shadows, had my bed shaken, instinct kicked in and everything in my body constricted....haven't we all experienced that at one time or another? My mom, to this day even, swears "things" would follow me wherever I went?? I've had beds continue to move, to the point my husband who thinks I'm "full of it" felt it one night and jumped straight up out of bed!! Had to be there**
I think it is wonderful what you do for people for free, it helps to have someone who knows and has knowledge of things many of us do not have any idea about. I also think it is awesome that people have such a passion for things that they do it for free.....:) Keep doing what you're doing..!!!

The origin of Halloween lies in the traditions of the Celtic people. The Celts believed that the veil between this world and the next was thinnest during this time of year. Friends and relatives who had died would often return, with their souls inhabiting an animal, often a black cat. Black cats have remained a symbol of Halloween down to the present time.
Halloween was commonly referred to as "All Hollows" Eve. It originated from the pagan holiday honoring the dead. The Roman Catholic Church created All Saints Day (also called Hallomas) on November 1st to honor Saints and All Souls Day on November 2and to honor and pray for the souls of the dead. These holidays were created by the church, in part to downplay the pagan holidays. Needless to say, it did not succeed. Halloween as we know it today, has grown from the ancient Druid Holiday. Along the way both fun, frights, and Satanic twists have been added to the mix.
