Can I tell you how much I hate writing intros?
Posted On 07/31/2008 02:54.40 AM

Because really, I do.  It's rare I can use the same one on two sites.  I can say *this* about what I see on this site, *this* about political views here, but NOT there, and the cycle goes on.  Gods, I hate introductions.

Now that we're past that, Hi, I'm Angi.  At the time of this post, I'm 17 and living about an hour north of Atlanta, GA.  I've been psychic my entire life, I even remember the color of the nurse's uniform when I was taken to the NICU at birth because I saw it from above.  I've always seen spirits and planars, and until I was 12 I actually thought that these were things everyone saw and felt.  I see spirits as physical people, to me they look just as solid as the laptop under my fingers, even if they aren't to my sense of touch.  To every other sense (we're going on the assumption I haven't tasted anyone) they are completely physical.  After 5 or so years of working on a method to tell the difference, I can still barely do it.  I interact with them as if they were any other person, and it frustrates me when others treat them as any less.

Those of you who get to know me better might learn that a lot of things in my life happened during that 12th year I was here, I started counseling/teaching kids my age and older ones how to live easier as a psychic or sensitive.  What has surprised me as I've gotten older is that as my mental side increases, my memory of the very early lessons I passed on then has decreased.  I keep seeking to find a balance between this physical amnesia and the new spiritual lessons I learn through the trial and error of my time here.

On the opposite side of things, I have enough animals to make most people assume I'm some sort of nut.  I have 8 horses, 7 dogs, 2 cats (and a heck of a lot of strays), 2 fish and an unkillable ice age fern.  Yet can you believe that I cannot convince the folks to let me have a Mexican Fainting goat? I've been riding horses for a decade now, and I find of most animals I meet they are the most interesting to talk to.  I haven't the slightest clue why, but they just seem to be.  I love to read anything and everything, including the backs of ketchup, lysol, mayo and water bottles.  But most of my reading is centered around older religions and spiritualities.

The most difficult part of my life is that while I teach and try to survive as a psychic and spiritualist, I am living with a Christian Fundamentalist family.  To be truthful, I have no idea what I can really do as a psychic.  The only abilities I know of are the ones that are too strong to be repressed while I'm here.  Thankfully, I am a senior this year and I will be out from under their roof in about a year.  This has caused constant stress pretty much every moment of my life, from infancy to now.  Expressing myself here would not help me get done what I know I need to get done, so I have to bite the bullet as I have all this time and keep going.  I hope to attend the University of Louisville and get a degree in Equine Business.

Glad to be here guys, everyone seems quite friendly!

Hugs and Blessed be

Angi
