So, does history repeat itself? No, not the history we learn in school - but energetic or dimensional history. (Well, maybe a little of the history we learn in school!)
I ask only in the history sense (personal and worldly) as it relates to the topic to residual hauntings. (Which I believe is classified as the form of haunting where entities attach themselves to a place or thing, but have no understanding or concept that times have changed. They are attached to a time or place.)
For example........
The Civil War - we've all learned about it in school, it's part of our country's history, but does it continually repeat itself for some of the soldiers who faught in the war? Some claim to have proof or have witnessed apparitions of soldiers, etc. at various Civil War sights.
Prisons, jails, etc. - Do some of those who have passed on in prisons (Alcatraz, etc,) continually exist there causing sightings, paranormal experiences etc.? After all - the individuals imprisoned there had histories of being in trouble.
Perhaps you get the point by now.
Are there actually apparitions repeating history over and over again?
Is it because they are still earthbound?
Or can a place that has experienced a lot of pain, death, etc. effect the energy dimensions there? Like a vortex or portol of negativity.
Hard sometimes to tell. There are lots of theories, ranging from various religious aspects to dimensional or energy aspects, as well as paranormal aspects.
My take is a little of everything. May all be possible. What we need perhaps is just more proof. Or perhaps as we approach more modern times and beliefs other dimensions may become more apparant to everyone.
