I know it's been a long since since I've been on the site and chatted with anyone, but I have started a new business and lately time is very limited. Anyway I wanted to share with all of you that I was recently interviewed by one of our local newspapers and wanted to post it to share with all of you. I hope you all enjoy it!

I have been asked "why do you like to hunt ghosts?" So I thought that maybe I should finally answer that question. First of all I do not hunt ghost, I investigate paranormal activity and for all the other ghost hunteres out there you know exactly what I mean.

It all started for me at a really young age, my mother was a very sensitive person and always jusst knew things. She would dream of something and then off we would go to try and find what she had seen in her dreams. She was a very wise woman and never boasted about having any kind of a gift, rather she would just say that some people are meant to know things before they happen.

This was something that she passed down to me. At first it scared me and even sometimes to this day I still get a little scared. Sometimes knowing is all that it is cracked up to be!

My very first expereince with my gift came when I was 8 years old and let me tell you it caused a rather big stir. I went to a chatholic school so talk of anything paranormal was off limits. One day our assignment was to draw a picture of our families. My picture was of me and my 5 brothers all holding hands and my mom and dad were floating above us. When the teacher asked why I had drawn my parents like I had I told her that it was because they were both going to die soon and then they will be looking down at us. This was very upsetting to the nun that was my teacher and she promptly scheduled a meeting with my parents. I was asked over and over again why I would drawn something so terrible and I honestly had no answer. It was literally just something I knew. I knew they were both going to die soon and I knew that I would go away from my family for awhile. My mother quickly told me that I should never share these types of things with anyone else ever because most people don't like it, and that is what I did.

The year that I turned 11 my father died after a long illness and within one year of his death my mother died of cancer. Although I have 5 older brothers none of them were willing to care for me and I was sent to a foster home.

Over the years I have had many, many more expereinces similar to that and they have all come true.

The most terrifing expereince that I had was when a passenger aiplane crashed not far from my home. This happened when I was an adult and married with children. That morning I awoke from a terrible dream that I couldn't remember. I just knew it was aweful and that feeling stuck with me all day. I called my husband at work to make sure everything was alright, I made my daughters stay home and close to me, hell I even called some of my friends and family to make sure that they were all okay. Still I could not shake the feeling that something really bad was going to happen, I just didn't know what exactly.

Early that afternoon I was sitting in the yard with my daughters and the air felt very still and there were no birds chirping, it was so odd. Shortly thereafter my husband got home from work and I told him about what I was feeling and how strange the day had been. He dismissed me as usual. My friend called and wanted to know if I wanted to go with her to a local arts and craft store, which is something I never pass up but on that day I did. 2 hours later the news broke that a passenger airplane had crashed near our town and all aboard were dead. More shocking was were it crashed, right over the hill from the arts and craft store!

My friend was ok but she had actually seen the plane come down and crash over the hill and it is something that to this day she can't get over. On that day over 200 people died and for whatever reason someone or something was trying to tell me about it before it happened.

Now a days I listen very closely to my inner voice and take it very seriously. Since then I have studied all things paranormal and in 2004 was able to gather a group of people that shared my same beliefs and we began officially investigating paranormal activity. As you all know it does exisit and even though there are many that do not believe we know that there is something beyond this life and to me it is very reassuring and comforting.

Recently one of my team members had a personal expereince that he will never forget. Kevin has been with us for about 3 years now and came to us as a non-believer. Kevin was skeptic about all things considered paranormal, well until he bought a 200 year farm house. Soon after buying the property the disturbances began. First just strange noises, then items began to go missing then he began to see strange things out of the corner of his eyes. It wasn't until he was pushed off a ladder that he decided to call in someone to help. This was when Kevin contacted me. I had known Kevin for some years and was surprised that he wanted my team to come out and investigate the strange happenings at his farm, but we packed up and headed down to see what we could uncover.

Needless to say that over the last 3 years the team has been to the farm countless times, we have found a treasure chest of paranormal activity. At the farm we have gotten EVP's, video of strange dancing lights and even pictures of the ghosts standing and watching us from the upstairs window. Through the use of diving rods we were able to communicate with at least one of the ghost's by the name of Rachel. Looking into the history of the house Rachel had lived there over 150 years ago.

Again, the paranomal activity at this place seems endless and with each investigation we seem to uncover something else. Even the locals in the town feel that the farm is what they cal a "thin place" or a place where spirits can come and go.

Over the years Kevin has learned to live with his ghostly roommates and for the most part the relationship seems to have been working out for all involved. However, that all changed on July 15th. Kevin was working in the yard at the farm building a new chicken coop and from the corner of his eye he thought he had seen something so turning to see what it was he saw an elderly woman sitting in one of the chairs on the porch. He could see her perfectly down to her gray pants, white shirt and her head full of grey hair. He looked directly at her for a few minutes and then she simply vanished. Kevin was rather shaken because of all the things he had expereinced at the farm he had never actually seen a full bodied ghost before, especially sitting there in full color in front of him. The event left him rather un-nerved to say the least, but a few days later the impact of what he had seen really hit him hard. While sitting and reading the local paper her happened to notice an obit for an elderly woman. When he looked at the picture he just about fell over, the woman in the obit was the woman that he had seen at his farm. He continued to read the woman's obit and discovered that she had been one of the families that had lived at the farm many years ago. Actually this woman had been born and raised at Kevin's farm. Once she was grown and married she and her family moved to Maryland and that is where she died. What is even more interesting about this story is that Kevin saw her sitting at the farm on July 15th, which is the day that she had died!

Since the 15th the activity levels at the farm are off the charts, foot steps, the sounds of heavy items being dragged across the floor, the microwave going off without anyone being near it and the chickens acting as if someone of something is chasing them around the pen. Without a doubt Ruth loved her childhood farm and even though she moved away many years ago when she died she came back home. Only time will tell how Kevin and his new ghost roommate will get along. Right now Kevin reports that he always feels as though someone is watching his every move but he does not feel threatened by her at all.

Posted in my photo gallary are some recent shots from an investigation. The camera seemed to completely malfunction for the first several shots. We changed the batteries but it still acted the same way. This is a Canon Digital camera that is only about 3 years old. We have never had these types of problems before or since. Does anyone have any suggestions for us on what could have caused this malfunction? Outside of just assuming it was all paranormal in nature I was wondering if someone else had a similar problem that was to be explained outside of the realm of the paranormal. The site that we were investigation is a very hot paranormal spot and we have caught a great deal of evidence out there so we have just all assumed that the camera was not the problem.

When you look at the shots the first picture is raw then the next few pictures where lightened up in PhotoShop.

Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated!
