Now after some time - I have moved in to another place with paranormal "goings on", which has lead me even further into paranormal investigations and research...

I have 3 kids and a grandbaby (I'm a young "gramma" - :) and we have 2 dogs (who also I believe see what we don't!)

I  currently live in a small 1 story ranch apartment - and it is loaded with paranormal activity, it's old but not that old, however the history of the area is, I am still researching that part.

I finally decided to do an investigation here with the group I am a member of.

We (the founder of our paranormal investigation group O.G.H. and I) have just done a recent investigation - and picked up several (sort of disturbng) EVPs - in the bedroom - where my grand-daughters crib is - and it is the room where she won't sleep all night in.... she always wakes up between 2:00am-3:00am if she is in that room...

She sleeps all night if she is not in that room..

I just happen to wake up around 2:30-3:30 am quite often with my dogs sitting up by me - staring, whining, and/or growling at the back room - or a wall - or just past my head - sort of looking past me -and nothing is there (at least that I can see). 
I always get up and check everything, even outside, still nothing there, then they will contininue this staring and whining and growling....even if I try to take their attention off of "whatever" it is...

(this has been going on for at least 2 years-with my dogs-I just got them a little over 2 years ago)

Naturally - I then have a hard time falling back to sleep.

"It" does bother my daughter - and my granddaughter (only if she sleeps in the bedroom-where her crib is).
My daughter is the one who I am trying to help "deal" with this now - and "deal" with what happened in the past.

 One morning, here around 6:00am with my daughter sleeping next to me  (who I think is still a bit of a paranormal "beacon") and the grand-baby between us, we kept hearing noises, and I got up and checked-nothing-and laid back down - there was nothing there -  suddenly there was aheavy weight on my feet-and it wasn't the dogs - and nothing was there-it was as if someone had slowly sat down on my feet.
 We were also still hearing "tapping sounds" when I decided to knock on the wall behind my head - 3 times-and instantly - "something" knocked 3 times right back. "It" sounded like it came from the "baby's room" which is behind the wall at the head of my bed, where I kocked.
 My daughter sat straight up and said "oh no mom-not again". (She's 21 now-she was around 14-15 when she had her "devistating" experience-we lived in a house with the activity that made me decide move us.)

My group's Founder is calling it haunted - and he does NOT say "haunted" easily, (probably  even less often than Jason Hawes and Grant Wilson from TAPS do).
(It  appears to be "intelligent").


This really disturbes my daughter now, with activity happening here - and the fact that my grandbaby will NOT sleep in the bedroom where her crib is.
I am sincerely trying to "ease her mind" and help her and myself learn to "live with" and "deal with this".. and to NOT be afraid of what we don't see, or understand yet..

I am doing this (helping her and myself - as well as hopefully others-like ourselves) - by doing paranormal research and investigation - and searching for answers - this helps get some "control"  back and helps to NOT be afraid - by lcontinuing  to learn about it all - and trying to find answers - as well as by trying to  help others like ourselves-it sort of brings a peace of mind)

My daughter and I have had experiences from the past.  The worst one was from a house we used to live in at a Cuyahoga Falls Ohio address...we wound up moving  because of it! 

The activity affected mostly my daughter and I (it didn't affect my boys as much) - and to this day we still have a hard time talking about it ....
Particularly ...it is hard for my daughter to talk about the experiences that would happen to her in her room, and my room was above hers, and I could not sleep in it.
It got to the point that both of us could not sleep in our rooms, we slept together in the living room on the couch...the boys didn't have much trouble sleeping in their rooms...but they saw (and heard) a lot of the other things that happened there. (my youngest son does not remember much now)
Some of the things that happened there included:
Lights going completely on and off - randomly.
Music playing on my daughter's cd player (that wasn't actually on the cd she was currently playing).
Finding a broken up baby doll (a very very old one) buried in the back yard (found it digging for flower planting).
Sudden writing on the steamed up kitchen window - the name "Sarah"...and none of the kids were there to do it, and it was fresh, as well as the fact that we know NO ONE named Sarah. 
Banging from all of the doors, and NO ONE was outside, or around the house. 
Banging from upstairs.....as well as that feeling of "get the heck outta here" feeling from one of the upstairs rooms (not much electricity up there, but still could have been high emfs's)
These were daily and nightly occurences... along with a few other things....my daughter claims to have seen a girl in a "blue dress"...as well as something else she saw...that we both don't like to talk about

One thing that affected my daughter, was when someone suggested to me, that I start asking whatever was there questions...

And so I did... I asked a couple of yes or no questions, such as is there someone here, is there a  little girl here....and was there someone else...we got the "appropriate" "responsive" bangs (once for yes and twice for no sort of thing) and they came from upstairs, and NO ONE was up there.
And...as someone suggested to me to ask:   We also asked "if there was someone else there, and if they were keeping "Sharah" there  "against" her will.....(once for yes, and twice for no)

Then that was it...there was an extremely loud BANG from upstairs, then-instantly my daughter covered her ears, dropped to her knees, and started crying, and screamed at me to "never do that again".....then she just sat there on her knees BAWLING....

(a little later she said she heard a "shrilling" voice go "through her head")

She was about 15 at the time.....It was after that and the many other things that would happen there...that we moved...(she is 21 now-and a mom herself-and I am a grandma)

The other  thing that would happen to her in her room - and we don't like talking about it - was that when she did sleep in there, she would wake up with a dark  figure leaning right over top of her...and it was nothing but a dark form with a face...black eyes...and a face..
("evil looking" she says)... we BOTH really don't like to talk about that much.

So now since we haved moved into my newer address (where I live now) there have been other things happen here as well.....which often "kick up" when her and the baby come over and stay....which leads to another BLOG....

And also leads to my extreme interest in paranormal investigation, and my being glad to become a part of a paranormal investigation team, so we can hope to find answers, and to help others like ourselves.  And maybe - in turn - we can help the "paranormal".
And to hope to help find answers enough to help teach people (as well as ourselves)  not to be affraid of what we don't really understand yet.

One of the reasons for a lifetime interest in paranormal (this one is minor) is from when I went to Puerto Rico, when I was 4 with my parents...and again by myself when I was 39..

When I was 4 my family and I were visiting my Aunt in Puerto Rico during christmas.....we went to see Fort San Cruistobal.  When we went down to the "dungeon" area - which was down through lit but dark tunnels - Even though I was 4 at the time, and 43 now - I still remember very very clearly, getting cold, getting goosbumps and getting very upset when we approached the "dungeon".  The dungeon area had a smaller doorway-with a "cell bar door"  leading into a very dark cell-tunnel area (very old, musty, cold, and creepy).   My father had to carry me back out.

When I was 39...I went back to San Juan Puerto Rico - via Cruise - and my only mission for that Port Stop, was to go back to Fort San Cristobal by myself, and re-visit the "dungeon area".  And-so I did....when I went through the whole fort (as much as they will let you see - very secretive there) It brought quite a mysterious & creepy feeling...and  then
......I went down to the dungeon area - BY MYSELF - and went up to that same doorway....I stood there for a moment and then it happened again.....I got cold arms (and it is not really cold there-even down through the tunnels -it's very tropical) and I got goosebumps, and the hair stood up on the back of my neck....I tried to step through the doorway, and I didn't make it very far.  If I wasn't alone down there, I may have made it further, but I doubt it (and this was broad daylight) my curiosity still keeps me wanting to go back.

That is a very old and mysterious place-and was quite a "battle" area..many bad things have happened there.  And the caribbean islands tend to have quite a history, and many ghost stories "in-general"...Fort San Cristobal, and Fort San Lucas both (in San Juan Puerto Rico) definately have that "mysterious aptmosphere" about them.
