Summer of Love by Vanessa Wright Acquisitions Editor: Astrology, Divination, and Paranormal
We kicked-off July with the New Moon in Cancer on July 2nd, making this the perfect month to begin new projects at home and deepen our connections to family and friends. As Cancer is the sign of all things domestic, this is an excellent time to host that dinner party you've been dreaming about or get going on the woodworking project you've set aside. The energy in the air is likely to provide an environment conducive to forming closer bonds with your loved ones and opening channels of support and affection. If you have anything on your mind you need to communicate or any issues waiting to be addressed, this is the time to clear the air. If fireworks are what you are seeking this July, be careful what you wish for. You might experience more heat than you originally bargained for—in an arduous sense or as a deep disagreement in your partnership. With Venus in Cancer opposing Jupiter in Capricorn on July 3rd, we begin the month with an air of self-indulgence. Excessiveness is the expression of the day. Carnal pleasures, rich foods, and expensive wines can be very gratifying at this time, but be certain to temper your desires, lest you drown yourself in satisfaction, blinded to the world around you. Have you been neglecting your partner lately? This aspect will not help patch-up any lingering issues. To help balance this opposition, make sure to focus a bit more energy on your partner's needs. Practice the art of fine-tuning your listening skills and tone down presumptuousness. A tight conjunction between Mars and Saturn in Virgo occurs on July 10th, and is the most intense Mars-Saturn conjunction until the year 2022. To top it all off, this heavy aspect forms a trine to Pluto in Sagittarius and a sextile to a Sun conjoin Venus in Cancer. This provides great staying power to any long-term relationship. This is an auspicious time for any big, life-changing decisions you will make as a partnership. If you are seeking to fine tune shaky dynamics, you and your partner will have the energy and wherewithal for successful accomplishment. At month's close, Venus in Leo opposes Neptune in Aquarius. Could an ideal relationship that flowered mid-May be causing you some disillusionment now? Take advantage of the potential for positive communication as the Sun conjoins Mercury in Leo on the 29th. August starts off hot and steamy and ends on a similar note. Not only is the Sun in Leo, the sign of passion, ardor, and intensity, but Venus in Leo makes a sexy fire trine to Pluto in Sagittarius on August 5th. Your existing love affair is likely to reach new heights of desire, love, and warmth, and you could experience a new phoenix rising from the ashes of your former lustful interactions. Aside from the extreme planetary polarity of August, by mid-month, there will be plenty of love and lust to go around. With Venus in Virgo trine Jupiter in Capricorn on August 17th, you might find a budding romance suddenly in full, earthy bloom. The Sun in Leo trines Pluto in Sagittarius on August 21st, and this only adds to the power of our yearnings. Have you been fantasizing about that sultry tryst? As they say, strike while the iron is hot. And what better time of the year can you expect your lover to worship you in a sea of adoration than when the Sun is in royal and radiant Leo. Just be sure to avoid the frigid Venus-Saturn conjunction stalemate on August 13th. As August comes to a close, our collective egos risk a bruising as Venus, the planet of love, makes a square to transformative and intense Pluto on the 29th. If you have to reject a potential paramour, go lightly. Also, if you are on the receiving end of unrequited lust, brush it off and move on. It's not worth turning into an emotional Mt. St. Helens during this powerful aspect. Watch your tongue, and don't fly off the deep end if your lover doles out more than a few edgy quips in your direction, as Mercury, the messenger and planet of communication, squares fierce Pluto on August 28th. INNER CIRCLE NEWSLETTER - JULY 23 2008 LET NATURE GUIDE YOU CURRENT SPECIALS AT THE CELTIC CONNECTION NEXT ISSUE: INTERPRETING NATURE'S SIGNS & OMENS LET NATURE GUIDE YOU Nature does speak to us ... but not like she does in movies where the mountains and trees have faces and even moving lips. For most of us, the voice is a subtle, quiet one that speaks to our heart and soul. When we acknowledge and honor the spirit of Nature or Mother Earth, this strengthens our connection to her and we become more aware of the messages and guidance she has to offer us. Although trips into the wilderness can be refreshing and enlightening, you don't have to find a primitive area to connect with Nature. If you live in the city or a suburban area, there are still plants, trees and birds to be found. Indoor gardens can be created using healthy, potted plants. Any area that allows you to connect with a part of the natural world will help you relax and allow your intuitive abilities to become stronger. The more time you spend in these places, the deeper your connection to Nature will become. As each season passes, you'll discover new wisdom and Divine gifts that can help you on your journey through life. By quietly observing, you can learn about life's mysteries and find guidance for the spiritual path you've chosen. In his best selling book, Nature-Speak, Ted Andrews lists Seven Rules to More Magical Encounters: 1. &nb sp; Practice seeing and questioning as a child does. Be fascinated and filled with wonder about everything in Nature. 2. &nb sp; Be a naturalist first. Magic and Spirit flow out from this and without the naturalist part, the magical Shaman cannot be. 3. &nb sp; Take trips regularly into Nature, at least once per season. Each season brings its own unique offerings and has its own lessons for us. 4. &nb sp; Find one special place for you to sit and observe regularly, a place that you can visit throughout the year. 5. &nb sp; Observe and be curious about everything. Notice what is going on around you, making notes or sketches of what you observe. 6. &nb sp; Be unobtrusive when out in Nature. Learn to be silent. Try not to talk. Just observe, contemplate and note activity. 7. &nb sp; Make your home environment attractive to wildlife. Hang feeders. Put up birdbaths and fountains. Have a variety of plants. When you follow these guidelines, you develop the ability to recognize signs and messages that come to you from the natural world. Next week I'll continue this subject by exploring how to interpret some of these messages. I'd like to close this article with excerpts from the writings of a six-year-old girl named Opal. She lived in an Oregon lumber camp at the turn of the century. Nature "spoke" to Opal, and the stories in her beautiful and deeply touching journal help us remember what this wondrous world looks like through the eyes of a child. "When I feel sad inside I talk things over with my tree. He is a grand tree. He has an understanding soul." "I walked along the logs and I went among the ferns. I did have feels of their gentle movements." "At the end of warm days I water the wild flowers and I water the plants that do grow in the garden. I can almost hear the tomato plants say, "We were waiting for you" every time I give them sprinkles." "At night the wind goes walking in the field talking to the earth voices there. Now are come the days of leaves. They talk with the wind. In the grey days of winter they go back to earth again, but they do not die." Copies of Opal's journal are available through our online bookstore. (See link below) May your next encounter with Nature strengthen your connection with our Mother Earth, and fill you with childlike wonder as she reveals the Divine gifts she has to offer you! Well here goes my crazy life again.... June 4th 2008 ~ I called my sister Nancy asking her for my cousin Jean Ellens e-mail address, she asked why and I told her I just had a really strange feeling about her when I woke up that morning. Nancy could not find an e-mail address or a phone number. None of us had heard from Jean Ellen since Christmas. Needless to say last week We recieved notice my cousin Jean Ellen had unexpectedly passed away on June 4th 2008. As it turned out she broke her leg had surgery so they could put a pin through the bone she went home and about a week later went to bed with her two Grandaughters that she adopted when thier mom passed at 21 for no reason in bed with the girls Christinna and Deystine 8yrs & 5 yrs.old now woke up in bed with another mommy who was never to wake up again.
Please let me know what you all think of these feelings!? and Please keep good thoughts for these two little girls. They are going through alot right now....from feeling it is their fault to thinking the reason their mommies leave them is cuz they are not good enough. Thank you Sally
Ok, this is a bit harder than I thought it would be. I am here because I have many questions and need many answers. First off, as a child I can remember laying in bed frozen, not being able to move due to fear because someone or something had sat on my bed and I could see the depression of the sheets where it was sitting. This happened to me several times growing up. My Great Aunt would tell me it was my brother (he passed at six weeks old) or my Grandmother whom died before I was even thought of. Yes I am used to it...to an extent, that is until I had children of my own. I was moved to Wisc. (by my husband at the time) to keep me away from my family & friends. My youngest daughter was four years old and we lived in a duplex on the main floor. We lived on a busy road so I let my daughter ride her tricycle in the basement--this was a concrete floor no windows and very level! She (my four year old) came up crying that somebody was riding her bike I told her no one was there so go ride your bike. Her six year old sister came up and said someone was riding it but nobody was there...well that confused me plus the fact that she turned very white worried me so I went downstairs, the tricycle was in fact going in figure eights around the furnace and huge pipe in the middle of the basement! I pulled my daughters upstairs. A few weeks later we were home alone again. ( my sister inlaw, her three children & husband lived upstairs but were gone on vacation) My son and two daughters came in from the living room to the kitchen where I was, asking to go upstairs to play with thier cousins and Itold them they weren't going to be home for three more days, they swore they were home so I went into the living room and could hear the kids laughing and running up and down the hallway. When I went upstairs to see my sister-in-law no one answered the door so I called her cell phone she said they were still in Stevens Point. So I called the landlord and he said he was on his way to also call the police so I did. We were all sitting at my kitchen table when you could hear the children laughing & running so the cops ran outside to the back (the only other way in or out and the landlord turned COMPLETELY white and he took off running upstairs. the landlord opened the door ran through the Apt.(with me right behind him) to the back door where the police were waiting so he let them in Oh yeah,,,both doors were deadbolted from the inside... after checking the closets under beds cabinets bathroom there was no one there! The police asked the landlord if I knew the past on the duplex he said no well right there I wanted to know the history... a mother had called her two sons in (upstairs)went out poured gasoline around the outside of the building lit it on fire went in locking the door behind her and she hung herself in the bedroom and the children were burnt to death in the fire! Needless to say,I moved promptly. Back to Illinois where I hadn't turned phone service on yet.I had bought a new answering machine and my first cordless phone. well I came home from work and there was a blinking light on the answering machine, I picked up the phone and no service just as I had thought so I hit play on the answering machine and there was a baby crying and you could hear someone with high heeled shoes walking towards the baby whoever was walking towards the baby instead of that comforting the child it screamed worse like it was scared or hurt. When this person got to the baby it went blank. Well I was scared for this child so I called the police, they came listened, checked my phone service or lack of out found out I didn't have any checked the day & time stamp on the machine and it was for that day...they took the tape and no matter how many times i called to check on it, Nobody could explain it.!? Plus there is so much more that seems to follow me from place to place(if that is at all possible) but I will go into that if I get some feedback on this... ANYBODY PLEASE!?!?
